Hi friends, I'm Katie!

Wife to my husband, David, and mama to my two boys, Oliver and Theodore, I'm truly and deeply in love with the life we've created.
I'm a gal who loves slow, laid back days at home- spending lot's of time in my kitchen with my little sous chefs, getting lost in good books with a mug of something warm in hand, soaking up the golden, magical moments of doing life with my boys.

I'm surrounded by the most incredible people and am often brought to tears thinking about how we're all raising our babies together. We gather, we laugh, we vent, we live, we savor. Around a table overflowing with home cooked food, surrounded by those I love with too many kiddos to count running wild- that right there is my happy place.

I was born and raised in the PNW so the love of adventure is deep in my bones. My Washington roots have given me a relentless craving for being in nature and exploring the world around me with wonder and curiosity. Mix that with my Louisiana born appreciation for living slowly, leisurely, and you'll find a mix of wild spontaneity, lots of going with the flow, a soul that craves the feel of grass between my toes, and a love for lingering.
